Climalux presenteert nieuwe HCU tijdens GreenTech

Tijdens de GreenTech beurs in Amsterdam, presenteert Climalux uit Nederland haar nieuwste Horticulture Control Unit. Deze MOD-versie wordt gepositioneerd naast de huidige CTR-versie. Het betreft een kleinere module, met aparte digitale interface voor de gebruiker, geschikt tot ongeveer 2 ha, die in een veelvoud kan worden doorgekoppeld om grotere projecten te realiseren.

De Horticulture Control Unit is het hart van het Climalux full-led groeilichtsysteem. Deze besturingsunit zorgt voor een analoge en digitale verbinding tussen de tuinbouwcomputer en het groeilichtsysteem. Het stelt de gebruiker in staat om de lampen en de ventilatoren snel en op elk gewenst niveau in te stellen en te anticiperen op de wisselende weersomstandigheden.

Climalux is een Nederlands bedrijf, gevestigd in Hoek van Holland, dat zich volledig richt op de ontwikkeling en productie van hoogwaardige groeilichtsystemen voor groente- en sierteeltgewassen op basis van Het Nieuwe Telen. Extremely high bell pepper yield of 47 kg per m² due to artificial lighting

At a Climalux trial site, a yield of 47 kg of red bell peppers was achieved in 2025 on an area of 40 m². It is expected that the yield on larger areas can be even higher, as the current status (week 13, 2025) has already yielded 20.5 kg.

Climalux Successfully Defends Invention of Vertical Ventilation Technology

Recently, Climalux successfully defended its invention—registered in a patent for the application of vertical ventilation to assimilation lamps—in proceedings before the Netherlands Patent Office (OCNL). The validity of the patent was challenged in these proceedings.

In its advice, OCNL indicated that the concept of the invention, and in particular the use of vertical ventilation, can be considered novel and inventive. Thanks to this advice, Climalux retains a strong patent and can confidently take the next steps in the further growth and development of its innovative cultivation solutions.
