Climalux introduces new full-LED grow light at IPM

During the IPM trade fair in Essen, the new CLX-2-3ch full-LED grow light from Climalux will be presented for the first time at Climalux’ stand 3B42.

During the IPM trade fair in Essen, the new CLX-2-3ch full-LED grow light from Climalux will be presented for the first time at Climalux’ stand 3B42.

The new CLX-2-3ch light is equipped with three switchable channels, which you can activate independently of each other. Like the existing CLX-2-1ch, the new light features SMD LEDs mounted on a single LED engine. Both lights have a higher light output and offer the grower an array of light spectrum options. The CLX-2-3ch grow lights are now available and can be supplied in any light spectrum required, with a maximum efficiency of 4.1 µmol/J.
All Climalux grow lights consist of a dimmable LED lighting unit and a vertical ventilation system that ensures uniform distribution of heat and moisture throughout the greenhouse. The light intensity and fan speed can both be controlled independently and steplessly.
Climalux is established in the Netherlands and fully focused on the development and production of high-quality full-LED grow light systems for vegetable cultivation and ornamental horticulture. The complete system is supplied, including CLX-2 grow lights, a control unit and power supply unit. Local technicians will install the system, under supervision of the Climalux team. The latest news from Climalux

More active crop with less energy

More evaporation, more water and nutrient uptake and less energy

When growing a crop in the greenhouse, it is very important that the greenhouse climate is set properly, but also can be controlled in such a way that the crop can grow optimally to achieve good yields. One of the most important elements in the greenhouse climate is the relative humidity. If this is too high then disease pressure on the crop increases and it takes more energy to achieve the right greenhouse temperature, too low and the crop experiences more stress resulting in suboptimal yields.

30% energy savings with Climalux grow lamp

In a trial of full-led grow lights from Climalux, conducted by HortiTech at research center PROOF with the tomato variety Martice on rockwool, it was shown that the Climalux grow light system resulted in savings of over 30% compared to the reference department with the same electricity consumption, light intensity and similar light spectrum.
