The trial has shown that lighting for hours alone does not provide the desired result, but that the flexible use of spectrum and a flexible start time are part of the solution, and that pruning policy ensures an appropriate generative plant balance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Additionally, Climalux uses air cooling, which optimizes energy efficiency. The trial investigates how to use this air cooling even more efficiently, in combination with energy input.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The bell pepper trial will continue in 2026\/2027, and the aim is to advance the planting time by two weeks later this year to further increase production and optimize quality.
